Job Summary
Johns Hopkins Aramco Healthcare (JHAH) is seeking a highly experienced Senior Network Infrastructure & Security Architect to lead the design, governance, and standardization of enterprise network and security architecture across mission-critical healthcare environments.
The role requires deep technical expertise in enterprise routing, switching, LAN/WAN, wireless, and data center networking, combined with advanced security architecture capabilities. The candidate must have experience designing high-availability, low-latency network environments and integrating modern security frameworks such as Zero Trust and SASE.
Core Responsibilities
- Design and oversee complex enterprise network infrastructures including LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, Wi-Fi, and data center connectivity
- Architect robust wireless networks supporting real-time, low-latency clinical operations
- Develop IP schema planning, zoning strategies, and multi-tier segmentation models

Implement and govern advanced network security controls including:
- Firewalls, VPNs, Web Application Firewalls (WAF)
- Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems (IDS/IPS)
- Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and secure web/email gateways
- Integrate security architecture into all infrastructure initiatives
- Lead adoption of Zero Trust, SASE, IAM, and next-generation security strategies
- Deliver Engineering Design Packages (EDPs), high- and low-level network diagrams, and traffic flow analysis
- Define and maintain network/security standards, baselines, and communication protocols
- Lead vendor evaluations, PoCs, and technical workshops
- Ensure compliance with healthcare and regulatory security frameworks
Key Requirements
- Minimum 10+ years of enterprise network architecture experience
- Expert-level knowledge of routing, switching, LAN/WAN, wireless networking
- Strong experience with firewalls, VPNs, WAF, IDS/IPS, DLP, and segmentation models
- Advanced IP schema design and multi-domain network segmentation experience
- Familiarity with hybrid cloud connectivity, SASE, Zero Trust, and IAM frameworks
- Experience in healthcare or other highly regulated, mission-critical environments (preferred)
- Strong stakeholder engagement, presentation, and documentation skills
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (Master’s preferred)
